Given that the first two tug-of-war contests shown below are ties, which group (frogs or turtles) will win the third contest, or will it also be a tie? (8pts. possible)
* HINT: The key is in the 1st contest! 😎
- 3 points for the correct answer (Frogs, Turtles, OR Tie).
- 5 bonus points for a logical explanation on how you got your answer.

ANSWER:
1st contest
: If 2 snails = 3 frogs,
then
4 snails = 6 frogs.
2nd contest: If 3 turtles = 4 snails, and 4 snails = 6 frogs, then 3 turtles = 6 frogs. From this, we can conclude that 2 turtles = 4 frogs.
3rd contest: Since 2 turtles = 4 frogs, and there are 5 frogs against 2 turtles,
of course the FROGS would WIN by a ribbit!
WINNERS:
3 points: Rodrigo, Danny, Ahmad, Grayson, Zakary, Sonika, Andres, Dalton
+1: Jason, Danny, Kulroop, Alexa, Ynigo, Jordyn, Antonio

2 snails can pull 3 frogs. 3 turtles are = to 4 snails or 6 frogs. The snails will win against the 5 frogs.

It is a tie because snail and frog is a tie and snail and turtle is a tie so it will be a tie with turtle vs frog

It will be a tie. Three frogs is equal to tying up with two snails, so anything less than 3 frogs is equal to tying up with 1 or 0 snails. 3 turtles is equal to tying up with 4 snails, so anything less than that is tying up with only 3, 2, 1, or 0 snails. Due to those facts, 5 frogs is equal to tying to about 3 snails. 3 turtles is equal to tying up with 3 snails also, which leads to my conclusion that the last tug of war contest will be a tie.

the frogs win because 0.75 turtles is one snail and 1.5 frogs are 1 snail with 5 frogs its enough to beat 3.3333 snails and 2 turtles can only beat 2.6 snails. ( 2.6 is less than 3.33 )
